Charting Tools

  • From top to bottom, the following tools are available:
    • Indicators: Used for technical analysis to identify trends, momentum, volatility, and trading signals. Examples include Moving Averages, Relative Sterngth Index and Bollinger Bands;
    • Simple Shares: Used to share the chart or analysis in a simple way;
    • Lines: Allows users to draw straight lines on the chart to indicate support, resistance or trend lines;
    • Crooked Lines: Allows users to draw irregular or freehand lines to highlight patterns or specific price movements;
    • Measure: A measuring tool that helps users calculate the difference between two points on the chart;
    • Advanced; Includes more sophisticated drawing tools or additional analysis features;
    • Toggle annotations: Show or hide annotations on the chart, example if a user has drawn multiple lines and notes, the can toggle them on/off for a clearer view;
    • Vertical Labels: Adds labels on the vertical axis of the chart often used for marking price levels or events;
    • Flags: Allows users to mark specific points on the chart, often used for reminders or important events.
    • Zoom Changes: Adjusts the zoom level of the chart for a broader or more detailed view.

In terms of selecting graph types, there are three types and can be accessed by toggling over the graph type as shown below. The 3 type of graphs include OHLC (Open/High/Low/Close), Line and Candle Sticks.
