# MERJ Deposit Interest

## Current rates and key terms relating to payment of Deposit Interest on funds held with MERJ by Participants

This article lays out the key terms and current rates of Deposit Interest pursuant to Section 7 of the Platform Participation Agreement. References to ‘Fee Schedule’ in Section 7 of the Platform Participation Agreement refer to this article.

| --- | --- |
| USD Accounts Only | 1.0% |

Tip: Participants may generate an account statement report to verify Deposit Interest paid on their account.

Key Terms

- Interest accrues at the end of each day based on the total Balance (i.e. the current realized balance of an account including uncleared transactions).

Note: This means that Deposit Interest accrues even while unfilled buy orders are in the market.    

- Interest is currently paid monthly (on the last day of the month)
- MERJ may determine the frequency and manner in which interest is credited to participant accounts.
- MERJ may make changes to the rates and terms at any time, with or without prior notice to participants.
- Deposit Interest rate is net of MERJ administration fees and relevant third-party costs.
- MERJ's determination of interest rates and administration fees is final and binding.
