# Password Management

Maintaining a strong password is essential for securing your account. Follow these best practices to manage and update your password securely.

**Creating a Strong Password**

When setting or updating your password, ensure it meets the following criteria:

- At least **8 characters** long (longer is recommended).
- Includes **uppercase and lowercase letters**.
- Contains at least **one number and one special character**.
- Avoid using personal information or common words.

**Updating Your Password**

1. Log in to the **Investor Portal**.
2. Navigate to **Settings \> Security**.
3. Enter your **current password**, then set and confirm a new password.
4. Click **Save Changes**.
