# Withdrawing Cash

## Withdrawing funds using traditional (non-blockchain) payment channels

Withdrawing funds from your MERJaccount via traditional (non-blockchain) payment channels is a simple and secure process. Follow these steps to request a withdrawal.

### Supported Currencies

MERJ allows withdrawals in the following currencies:

- Seychelles Rupee (SCR)
- US Dollars (USD)

### **Withdrawal Methods**

Funds can be withdrawn using:

- **Bank Transfers**: Withdraw funds to your registered bank account.

### **How to Withdraw**

1. Log in to the **Investor Portal**.
2. Navigate to **Withdraw Cash**.
3. Select your **linked bank account**. ***Note****: if you have not yet added your account, please go to **Bank Details** and enter the information on the bank account you will use for funding purposes.*
4. Enter the **withdrawal amount** and **currency** and confirm the request. ***Note:*** *if selecting a currency different from your account currency or if your bank account is a different currency, an FX conversion will be executed by a bank in transit. MERJ has no control or site of the rate that will be charged.*

**Submit** the request for processing.

### **Processing Times**

- Withdrawals are typically processed within **1-3 business days**, depending on your bank.
- Processing times may vary due to banking policies and verification requirements.
